Bidding with Hill Auction Gallery

At Hill Auction Gallery, we provide multiple bidding options to accommodate your bidding preferences, including absentee, phone, and online bidding.

Before You Bid

We encourage bidders to thoroughly review each item of interest by consulting the catalog description, condition report, estimate, and accompanying photographs. Items are available for in-person preview by appointment only during the week leading up to the auction. This allows bidders the opportunity to inspect pieces firsthand and consult with our specialists.

Please Note: All items are sold “As Is-Where Is.” It is the bidder’s responsibility to assess condition and suitability before placing a bid. All sales are conducted in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, which must be reviewed and accepted prior to bidding.

Bidding & Registration

By registering to bid or submitting a Bidder Registration Form, you acknowledge and agree to our Terms and Conditions. Upon payment in cleared funds, purchases may be collected or shipped. While we facilitate shipping arrangements, all packing and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Absentee Bidding

For those unable to attend the auction in real-time, we offer absentee bidding. To submit an absentee bid, complete a Bidder Registration Form, clearly listing the lot number, item description, and your maximum bid amount. Our team will execute your bid competitively, striving to secure the item at the lowest possible price.

Phone Bidding

Hill Auction Gallery also offers phone bidding services. Once registered, a representative will contact you shortly before your selected lot is offered, allowing you to bid live via phone. Our specialists will act on your behalf, ensuring a seamless bidding experience.
