Bid with Hill Auction Gallery

Hill Auction Gallery offers multiple ways to bid depending on your individual buying preferences. We offer live in house bidding, absentee bidding and phone bidding. On-line bidding is also available at LiveAuctioneers.com or InvaluableAuctions.com.

Please remember to first review your items of interest by checking the catalog description, condition report, estimate and review our on-line photos.

 In house and online bidders must register to bid by either using the Bidder Registration Form, calling in by phone or in person at the gallery. You will be assigned a bidder number. In-person gallery bidders will receive a bidder card with their bidder number to use during the auction. Proof of identity and credit information is required when first time bidders register.  Auction items are available to preview the week preceding the auction by appointment. You can then examine the items first hand and ask questions of our staff.

Remember all items sold at auction are sold “As Is-Where-Is”. It is the bidder’s responsibility to fully satisfy themselves of the condition of items prior to bidding. Hill Auction Gallery sales are governed by our Terms and Conditions. Please read and understand the Terms and Conditions completely prior to placing any bids. When registering to bid or submitting a bidder registration form you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. Upon receipt of payment in cleared funds you may arrange to pick up your purchase or have them shipped. Hill Auction Gallery will assist you in making shipping arrangements although all costs related to the packing and shipment of your purchase is the responsibility of the buyer.

Absentee Bidding

Bid Forms are available online. To submit absentee bids, print and fill out the Absentee Bid Registration Form completely. Carefully indicating each lot number, descriptions of the items including the maximum price that you are willing to pay for each lot. Hill Auction Gallery will then execute your bids accordingly, trying to purchase the lots of your choice for the lowest price possible.

Phone Bidding

Hill Auction Gallery offers phone bidding services as well. Once you have arranged to bid by phone prior to the auction, one of our representatives will call you a short time before the designated lot is offered for sale and we will act as your agent when the item reaches the auction block. Please remember that an Absentee Bid Form/Phone Bid Form must be filled out.
